Moules-Frites evening
“Moules-frites” (Mussels and fries) is a popular dish consisting of mussels and fries originating in Belgium but also popular in France. It is likely that the dish was created by combining mussels, a popular and cheap foodstuff eaten all around in Belgian Coast, and fried potatoes which were commonly eaten around the country in winter when no fish or other food was available.
For our October event, we propose you to go back to this original Belgian tradition of “Moules-frites”.
Some of you may know Café Curieux, started by French restaurateurs in 2012, for its light and unpretentious bistro style French cuisine. But they also make a delicious Moules-frites.
Come join us and enjoy this real Belgian tradition of eating mussels with a few glasses of Belgian beer.
